International Lover

International Lover is Troy Lingelbach’s first full-length show. It debuted at the Hupstate Circus Festival in Ithaca, NY in August, 2024. Two hours of Troy and a trapeze, International Lover is a collection of journal entries brought to life through aerial dance and performance art. The piece articulates Troy’s journey toward self love and acceptance as a non-binary individual, reckoning with a mind, body, and spirit in conflict.
